transposing problem

HI,

My worksheet looks like this

A B C D ....
2002 2003 2004 .... 2006
1 5.2 2.1 11.2
2 3.1 9.5
3 4.2 54.1
4 8.5 1.2
5 1.0 8.8


however,

I need it to be like:


A B C
1 2002 5.2
1 2003 2.1
1 2004
...
1 2006 11.2
2 2002 3.1
2 2003 9.5

I have found the threads before but Ijust can't get the index formula and transpose function to work for me...

Any help???

Note that there is a "paste special" option that transposes.
