Data Validation

I am trying to implement a data validation system into the cells of my worksheet but I still want the end user to be able to cut and past data from other excel worksheets or workbooks into my spreadsheet without over writing my validation list checker. Is this possible? What I am saying is that if someone cut and pastes say a list of 20 inputs into my spreadsheet all at once, is there a way to make sure that all 20 inputs were indeed correct and if they are not let them know?

I think I can get my validation done using the match() function but still haven't successfully done it. In case I wasn't clear in the post above my goal is to check the inputs that are entered into my spreadsheet against Ranges to validated a good input. I can't use the validation method because copy and paste writes over it so I need some other method to accomplish this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
