    Sort by date **attachment included**

In the file attached I have a row, the first row, called 'Entry Date/Time'. In this row I have the date and the time when each truck was hauling rubbish.

The problem I have is that I can't make it to select all trucks that travelled on the 18th for example.

    How would I do this.

Also, I'd like to know how I can filter a certain date range, for example, all trucks travelling from the 18/9/07 - 20/9/07 for example.

    Thanx

    Hi

Select A1 and go Data, filter, autofilter.

Select the dropdown, and go custom.
In the first box select "is greater than or equal to", then select the relevant date in the right hand box.
In the second box, select "is less than or equal to" and then select the relevant data in the right hand box.

Press OK and it will filter out the relevant data.

    Data filtering

    Hi

You should be able to achieve your objective using Data/Filter.

Click on the first row of the column from the menu select data/filter/autofilter, then custom and insert your criteria and it should be okay.

    Regards

    Jeff
