Two many different cell formats

Hi friends,



I am a support engineer.One customer came to me with an issue.
The issue is that ..He is trying to open one excel file.But he is getting an error msg

"Two many different cell formats"

If he click on OK button,he is getting a pop up box saying that microsoft is able to open the file after making repairs..But some data will be lost.

I am just pasting the error if he clicks on the pop up box

"Microsoft Office Excel File Repair Log

Errors were detected in file 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\notesBE54C8\~7644326.xls'
The following is a list of repairs:

Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted."


Can you guys help me to tackle the issue

Hello Kurian,

Have a look at this article. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to determine the number of formats you have in the workbook.
