Reference X & Y table values in calculation tab

I have a table with X and Y values and a third value that I need to reference to a separate calculation tab and then send the output of the calculation tab back to the table. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks -Matt

    Not clear

What you are asking is not clear. I believe you want a calculation involving 3 factors, the result of which will be placed in the table in the appropriate location. I think that means your table cells need to contain links to wherever the calculation is done. If you want a single calculation, this may be doable with Indirect or Offset or a combination. I probably cannot provide the code, but those who can probably need a better explanation.

I guess my problem is that without using VB, I don't know a way to output in the table each x and y parameter's unique calculation without changing all the the outputs received to the last calculation performed. Basically, my table is being filled in with the last calculation performed for all of the cells and I need it to have all the unique answers.

    still not clear

Maybe its me, but you haven't given enough specific information. I believe I get the jist of your idea and if you look at Offset and Indirect in the Excel help file you may se enough to phrase your problem more succinctly. Ithink you are trying to use one formula that is sensitive to the relative position in the table. That is what Offset and Indirect will do for you. People in the forum will actually supply code for you, but you have to be more precise. Perhaps give some idea of what the calculation is.

The calculations use a percentage of a substitution for a new material (the horizontal parameter in my above example) and the cost of the current material (the vertical parameter) and a third variable, the price of the new material (at this point you can just ignore the third variable). There are several calculations that are made by adjusting the parameters and in the end, a dollar amount is calculated. As you have probably gotten, I need the dollar amount to be returned to the table in the cell with the corresponding horizontal (%) and vertical ($) values that were used to calculate that value. To me, it seems the Indirect would be the way to go. Let me know if I am still being to vague and I will try to clarify more. Thanks for your help!
