    'Not responding' every time I open databse

    I compiled about 120 entries (15 fields, so its somewhat large, about 5mb file) into one spreadsheet, turned it into a database with drop down menus ect, but now I am unable to open it, because every time I do, I get 'not responding' a few seconds after trying.

    I'm running intel core duo, 1.66ghz, 2gigs ram dd2, gforce 7800, and have nothing else running whatsoever, so I really don't think it could be the power of the computer causing this to happen.

    Any help?

    Hi Willslazy, are there any macros called by the workbook_open event that might be trying to run (and failing/stalling)?

    Managed to get it to run.. when the file finally tries tries to load, the autorecovery gives me this message...
    Removed feature: AutoFilter from /xl/tables/table1.xml part (Table)
    Removed feature: Table from /xl/tables/table1/xml part (Table)

    And here's the file log listing repairs..
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main"><logFileName>error026360_01.xml</logFileName><summary>Errors were detected in file 'C:\Users\user\Documents\Monk\Database Remake\MonkHost_CompileDone.xlsx'</summary><removedFeatures summary="Following is a list of removed features:"><removedFeature>Removed Feature: AutoFilter from /xl/tables/table1.xml part (Table)</removedFeature><removedFeature>Removed Feature: Table from /xl/tables/table1.xml part (Table)</removedFeature></removedFeatures></recoveryLog>
