    Toolbars

I posted this in another forum but after a certain point I got no answers. Sorry if this is a cross post here is my original thread if you want to answer me there http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...19#post1876719

Ok.. I've created a number of macro buttons on a toolbar that is specific to a particular work book. 2 other people (at the moment) will be working on that workbook and I would like them to have the same toolbar on their system.

The macros are currently stored in a separate workbook on my computer, but they can be moved.

I will be creating new versions of the workbook every month.

Is there a way of copying the toolbar onto their systems so that they can use them?

As the workbook will be replaced every month it makes sense for them to have them on their computers rather than attach them to the workbook every month.

Once again, sorry if reposting this question is not good nettiquette but I really would like to have this sorted in the next couple of days as we start using the new system at the beginning of the month.

    Thanks again.

    Hello evurr,

It would help to know more about your toolbar. Is it like the one Excel uses for menus, or is it a bar with buttons, or simply buttons on a worksheet?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Hi, sorry still learning the terminology.

It's a toolbar with buttons, like fi the Wordart set of buttons or the Formatting one. I have named this one "debtors list" as that is the sheet I want to use it on.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

I've tried attaching the toolbar to the workbook by going through the customize/toolbars/attach/click toolbar name/attach

    I then save the workbook
Remove the toolbar from the set being shown.
Open the workbook expecting to see the toolbar......
    And there's nothing there!

Does anyone at all know this?

    Please

it's usually best to create your Toolbar on the fly with VBA code. This example will create a Floating Commandbar.
Amend this code and copy to a Standard Module

You need to add this code to the WorkBook Module

    Hope that helps.
