Question Multiple Fill Color & Font Colour icons on menu bar

    Hi,

is it possible to have multiple Fill Color & Font Colour icons on the menu bar as quite often it would be handy to have two of each as I often need to swap font and fill colors and having two icons of each would assist greatly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Excel version 2003

    Many thanks

Tools > Customize > ToolBars and Commands will let you put multiple icons for the same command on the toolbar.

    ...How to Cross-post politely...
..Wrap code by selecting the code and clicking the # or read this. Thank you.

Question Multiple Fill Color & Font Color icons Not working as expected !!

    Hi,

many thank for you speedy reply, but unfortunately when I change the one 'Fill color icon' to another colour the other icon 'Fill color icon' colors changes as well to the same color - the same applies to the 'Font Color icons' as well.

What I hoped to achieve is to have two icons for each, each having different colors – so potentially I could have the four icons on the tool bar each having a different color to choose

    Any Ideas ?

    One idea

If you're always using the same colors, I would suggest personalized buttons, activating macros. Create a macro that makes the selection color A, one that makes it color B, and create a button for each of them. You can do the same thing for the font colors.

If you always use the same combination of color - same font color for same background color, you can do it with two buttons rather than four.

    I'm sorry I can't suggest a more flexible solution.
