    Populate a cells selectable options based on a list

    Here is what I am trying to do... I've done this in Access before but not excel, not even sure if it is possible.

    In on worksheet I have a list of ids, and for each ID there is a string associated with it.

    In another worksheet I want to have it so that all the ID's and their string are selectable from a drop down list. That way we don't need to memorize what IDs are associated with strings.

    Basically an enumeration... when I select a string I want the ID to be inserted, just need the string as a reference.

    Let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'll try to clarify it.
