    Excel Cell Matching

I need a formula that will match a row if the cells match OR are blank:
    Example:

    A B C D F
1 Apples Oranges Bananas Apples No match on row
    2 Apples Apples Apples MATCH!
3 Oranges Bananas Pears No match on row
4 Pears Bananas Oranges No match on row
5 Bananas Pears Apples Oranges No match on row
    6 Bananas MATCH!

    Any ideas?

So every entry from column A to Column F must be the same (or blank)?

This assumes you don't have blank cells inbetween data. Not pretty but it works.

or if you're going to have blank cells between, try

    =IF(COUNT(A1:F1)=COUNTIF(A1:F1,A1),"Match","No Match")
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

This did not work because my example did not accurately display the empty cells in the ranges. The rows do NOT contain contiguous data. Here is a better example:

    A B C D F
1 Apples Oranges Bananas Apples No match on row
2 Apples Apples (blank) Apples MATCH!
3 (blank) Oranges Oranges (blank) MATCH!
4 Pears (blank) (blank) Oranges No match on row
5 Bananas (blank) (blank) (blank) MATCH!

    Ideas?

Sweeps formula should work for you as long as the cells really are empty.
