    Open-ended list validation

    Hello,

I have a column with a list validation. The list is located in a seperate worksheet. I would idealy like to leave the list open (i.e. add more entries to the list or remove some whenever needed), and not have to reset tge list boundaries every time for the validation.

If I set the list boundary (i.e. name the list) to the entire column that the list is entered into (on the seperate worksheet), then when I use the drop down combo-box validation, a series of blank cells follow the first entries)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Use a dynamic named range for the list. You will find many examples here if you search the forum.
