    Formatting Problem:converted to a numeric value

    I have a file where the date is always converted to a numeric value. I've tried formatting it to a date value but it doesn't work. I don't know what to do.

    Do I have to retype all those dates just to fix it?

    Thanks. I really need help on this.

    Try Tools > options > View Tab and untick formula

    or

    Ctrl + `
