    Hi zzseason,

Yes, it is possible to import data from the web into Excel.

To do so you have to get the data you want to import into a TABLE of a webpage. In the menu option "Data" you'll find an option to get a webquery based on a table.

Importing the data can be automated with a macro (VBA), and in this macro you can also delete some columns if you want to.

    Hello WinteE,

I am the same person with zzseason.I just opened new account because there is problem in opening my old account.
Anyway, thanks alot for helping me so far.
Can you help explain a bit more details how to do for it? I am totally new to it.
I have tried to import data using 'new web query' as you said. But the message says, return no data and can't see anything.
So how should I do for it?
By the way, I am using excel 2000.
    thanks.

    hi,
    thanks for helping so far.
yea, it works well with the page you gave.
But I still have problems when I use this way to extract data from the page I want.
Do you think is it possible to use this way if the data I want to extract is not tabular format?
It's not inside <table> and </table> in html page.
thanks in advance for further help also.

For as much as I now about this you need to have the data stored in a table.
Guess you best look into Excel's help.
