    Show Current Month

    Good Morning,

Is there a way of Excel identifing what the current month of the year is?

    - e.g. Today is 27/02/08 - so the result should show "Feb"

I assume that I need to work with the =Today() formula, but am unsure how to get the required result.

    Regards

    Hi,

Yes, that's the correct formula. You need to format the cell with the custom format and enter 'mmm', or 'mmmm' for the complete month name.
