A Form and Drop Down Box

    Hi Guys

Its been a while since i used excel now and all my knowledge seems to have gone out the window. I have attached a system im starting to work on. On the first sheet is the table of data, on the second is a data input and alteration system i want to use to bring up each row of data from the table sheet. How do i get the text boxes to be filled with the data from the datasheet based on the RG number i pick from the top drop down box?

Any help would be appreciated. Using Excel 2007.

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

Why use text boxes? It would be much easier to format the cells to the size you want and then use a VLOOKUP to populate the cells.

    Hi

I have tried this and now am using vlookup for all the data i need, i just now need some way to edit the data that has been lookedup. When i try to edit it it just brings up the formula, any ideas how?

As you probably realise, a cell can either contain a formula or data so to achieve what you want would only be possible by doing a copy and paste special values to another location and then edit as required.

It would be possible to do this using a macro.
