I would like to create a tab/button on the top line of my document to enable me to choose what rows in excel to show whilst hiding the rest if i have explained this badly here is what i want
Button with down arrow that gives me some choices including - all ascending descending and then all the individual information
red
blue
yellow
blue
green
blue
i can click the button to show blue and the rest will be hidden.
Please help me i know it can be done

You might be looking for the "Auto filter" function.
Go to "Data", "Filter" "Auto Filter"
