How do you copy the date in the column without changing the date?
For example, if I put the date in the top cell and I want (all the cells in between) to the bottom cell to be the same date how would I do this without the copy and paste function.

in a2 you can have:
=a1 and drag down
or
=date(2008;01;01) and drag down
