25,000 entries, how to find increments of 50

Hi,

I have a very long column of elevations that I would like to get the row numbers, or values from another column, every 50 units. The column is an elevation. In another column I have distance. I need the elevation and distance for every point where the elevation changes by 50 feet. Any suggestions?

Well, since this is an Excel forum that won't let me post a sample of an Excel document, I'm not sure how to do that.

Hope this works. There isn't enough data to demonstrate the values incrementing by 50, but essentially the elevation column will change by several thousand and I want each value out of that column where it has incremented by 50 from the last milepost that was recorded as 50 above the one before. It's actually simple, but there are so many values that I cringe at the thought of going through 25000.

I assume you want the whole row where the values increased/decreaded by 50 units or more.??
