    Copy and move file to a new folder: macro

    Hi,

    Is it possible to automate a process by which we can copy a file that is moved into a folder to another folder ?

    In the folder F:\Mukund , whenevr a new file is posted I have to copy the file into a different folder G:\Daga . Can it be done automated through macros?

    It certainly can. You've not given much information, so there's an assumption on the file name that will need changing.

    hii

    HI Dominic. Thanks for the help !

    I am facing another small problem now.

    UserForm1. Show is in the Workbook_Open() of my program. Thus the macro is run automatically once it's opened. The UserForm has three textbox inputs. If there is an error I display the error message.

    Now I want to ask the user to input the textbox inputs again without closing the file. Can it be done?

    On Error GoTo Errorhandler

    blah blah blah
    blah blah blah
    blah blah blah

    Errorhandler:
    ErrMsg = Error(Err)
    MsgBox ("Error: " & ErrMsg)

    ???? => Missing statements !
