Unhappy dates on a userform are american!!!

A text box in a userform has a control source of a cell with the formula =today(), and the cell is in dd/mm/yy format.

Why then, in the userform, does it become American (mm/dd/yy)???

There is no property that I can find to change this - is there some code that would do this?
