Hyperlink to Tab

Hello,

I'm trying to create a hyperlink to a specific tab within another workbook. The hyperlink works fine until i save the Workbook then the hyperlink fails.

all i have done is Place a ! after the name of the workbook then the tab name

so it looks something like this

C:/myworkbook.xls!cost

I don't want the hyperlink to go to a particular cell just open on the tab / sheet i specify.

Is this possible

any help would be much appreciated.

Whenever you click on the link you say its working you are effectivelly going to cell A1 of that sheet.
