Pivot table Date Filters

HIya

How do I go about filtering / showing from a fixed beginning date to today()

A bit like a year to date with a user set "year beginning"

I believe you need to click on a date in the pivot table before you get the correct dropdowns.

Unfortunately, the Date Range filters and Dynamic Date filters aren’t available in the Pivot Table Report Filters area. If you move a date field to the Report Filters area, only the Checkbox filter type is available.

If you move a filtered date field from the Row Labels area to the Report Filters area, any filtering will be discarded, unless the checkboxes were used to select specific dates.

In esssence, this means i can't do what i'm trying ot ? Surely i'm not the only one who want to do this :P ?

In my experience, you don't get the date filters if (only one) any of the date data is not a date. If one single blank is in your date column of data then Pivot Tables won't allow you to do date operations.

Check your data to see if all are real dates.
