Adding the same cell in 50 sheets

how do have one summary sheet that adds the cells in 50+.

A1 in summary = sum of A1 in 50 sheets

Try..

=SUM('Sheet1:Sheet50'!A1)

Change the sheet references accordingly. Alternatively, create two new worksheets and call them First and Last. Then place all relevant sheets between these two new sheets and use the following formula...

=SUM(First:Last!A1)

i created a first (formula 1) and a last (formula 2) and this is what it gave me #href...

i went back to the formula and it looked like this??? it is putting the [] in automatically...
