    Link Drop Down Menus

Hello all! First post... be nice!

I have a form that users fill out and then submit. Two columns have set choices. Column A is select a "family" (let's just use letters for my example). Column B is select a "group" (let's use numbers for my example).

So, you get to column A. It is not a freeform field. You select A, B, or C. Then you go to column B and select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

However, this is how I want it to work:

You may only select 1 or 2 after you've selected A.

In other words, once you've selected your first pick in column A, the second drop-down should not show all the options.

    Any ideas?

    I have one remaining question.

    A links to 1 & 2. B links to 3 & 4.

Someone goes into my file, selects A, then only has the option to choose 1 or 2.

They choose 2. However, if they go back to the first column, they may reselect B, for an illegal combination of B2.

Is there a way to reset the second column to blank when the first column is changed?
