Question Creating a dynamic summary page

All.. Have created a report that pulls information from a database, onto different sheets. Need to create a summary page, with the information from each sheet placed above each other. this would be easy, but the amount of rows on each sheet changes radically on a daily basis, so need the information from sheet3 to start directly below sheet2's, where that position is dynamic. Same for sheet 4's information etc..

Apologies if this have been responded to before, and thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome to the forum

If the data for the individual sheets is pulled from a database, why don't you pull the summary information from the same database rather than the individual sheets?

Can you give additional information as to how the summary information relates to the individual information. It would be preferable if you could attach a copy of the workbook here, or a subset of it if it's large.

    thanks for the quick response..

Firstly, have no control of the database, so have no way of doing it from a direct query.

Please find attached the spreadsheet -

As mentioned, need to put on the summary page, all the rows that contain information from general arrangement sheet (variable); and below that all the rows that contain information from the detail design sheet..etc.. My problem in summary is working out how to insert the information from the dd sheet, into a dynamic point on the summary page, just below where the last information from the general arrangement page has been pulled across..

    thanks again.

    Hi,

The following macro will copy the details from any sheet which has the label 'Cell No.' in Cell D2. i.e. it will not copy other non data sheets. First copy the Row 2 column labels to the Summary sheet. Each time the macro is run, the summary sheet details will be cleared, and then repopulated.
