    Question comparing lists-two files, both contain personnel

    I have two files, both contain personnel - i need to identify which people appear in one file (File A), but not in another (File B). They can be matched on personnel id, which is in column B in File A, and column F in file B.

    Hope someone can help, many thanks.

    Something like

    =Isnumber(Match(B2,'C:\[File B.xls]Sheet1'!F:F,0))

    This will return True if a Match is found and False if not...

    you may need to revise the path and sheetname in the formula to suit you.

    Assuming these are different tabs in the same workbook, row 1 of the first blank column of File A can be
