Our office recently got new computers and are running Office 2007. Now when she opens an excel document that was on older version, it opens it twice.
You can see the document open both times, but actually only one document remains open. Then she gets an error that the file is open by another user. It also requires her to enter the password for each file that opened, so she enters it twice.
It appears as though excel is trying to convert the older version to the new, but then never fully closes the first file.
There are several new computers in our office, and no other one is acting this way so we are totally lost.
Anyone have any sort of explantion for this??
