Excel page counting?

Is it possible, without 3rd party software to have excel look at a file and count the amount of pages in it?

If you mean worksheets then you could use this macro

Press Alt + F11 > insert module > paste in the below > close VB editor > press Alt + F8 then select run CountSheets

Ah sorry, was unclear. I mean can excel look at a file like a .pdf, .doc file and count how many pages are in it?
