    Conditional Formatting

I'm going nuts here. All I want to do is generate a condition in which a green "up" arrow is displayed if the percentage in column B is positive (greater than 0) and a red "down" arrow is displayed if the percentage in column B is negative (less than 0). I got this to work on another column, albeit I have no idea how I did it and now can't replicate the conditions.

    TIA

Can you post some example data as I don't understand where the percentages in column C come from or how you want column B percentaged.
    Cheers

The percentages in column C are based on the change in values in column B. For instance, cell C6 is the following formula: =(B6-B7)/B7

The figures in column B are yearly sales and the values in column C represent the year-over-year change in sales.

If needed I will attach the spreadsheet itself for you to manipulate. Just let me know.

    Thanks for the help.

Change the Type: to Number not percent.

It would appear Percent recaluclates the values in the selection as a percent of their total, which is why you get only 1 red arrow.
