    barcode reader and excel problem.

    I am scanning in a text line into a cell on an excel spreadsheet using a barcode scanner. The information I am scanning in is UK74568230014926032006FWBX
    I need to automatically split this information into the following UK745682 and 300149 and 26/03/2006 and FWBX. This information is then put into the the different columns i require and the date is formatted into day/month/year as shown.
    Any help would be really appreciated

    The following change event macro is set to work assuming that the barcodes are going into column 1

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Paste this into the tab for the sheet (e.g. Sheet1) in the VBA editor (Alt F11).
