1. How do I copy drag a formula down a column several thousand rows down without waiting for Excel to slowly scroll?
2. What key stroke will move me to the last cell in a column containing a value?
many thanks!

CNTRL ↓ will take you down to the right before the next blank (or if you're on a blank, to the next occupied cell)
You can copy the cell and then use the SHIFT CNTRL ↓ to highlight all the cells you wish to copy into and then CNTRL V and it will copy into all of the highlighted cells.
Is this what you were looking for?

I want to copy a formula in cell A1 into cells A2 through A10000 without dragging because the dragging takes too long.
In the name box next to the formula bar enter A1:A10000. This will select the cells then press Ctrl + D to fill the formula

I used the CTRL+G and that worked. Your tip about CTRL arrow helped too. Many thanks
