    Select Objects

I cannot select objects. I am trying to select a group of Macro buttons in a worksheet and the Select Objects tool does not work for me in Office 07. Any help is appreciated.

I don't have XL2007; however, with previous versions there was a CONTROL TOOLBOX with a button for Design Mode (triangle + t-square) that allowed selecting objects from that Menubar.

You can switch on Design View in the Developer tab
    Hope that helps.

When I go to Design View on the Developer tab I still cannot select multiple objects (i.e., marcro buttons) on a sheet using Select Objects button to draw a box around all items I want to select.

You can select multiple objects by clicking Ctrl whilsr selecting. The method you describe works with UserForms.
