Excel 2007 : Autofilter Icon

When using multiple filters it easy to miss some filters which apply as you return to the base data table.

Is it possible to have the icon box coloured (in red for example) to spot more easily the filters which are still live.

Otherwise this new function is the cat's pyjamas

Do you not get the Filter symbol displayed as well as the dropdown button?

Yes, you do get the little funnel icon, but even with that, my fading eyes can still miss an active filter when using multiple filters.

For me it just needs to be more prominent

I don't believe you can change it.

On the Data tab in the Sort & Filter group is a Clear button. This is enabled if a filter is currently applied.
