    Worksheet navigation using ComboBox

    Hi all,

How can i create a combo box that will link to cells i choose (these cells will have unique names i've given them in the top left Name Box field on the worksheet).

The idea is that my really wide worksheet can be navigated easily as there are different parts to the sheet. Instead of scrolling across the sheet i prefer selecting a named cell from the combo box, and that will take the user to that cell.

BTW, all is contained within a single worksheet.

Make sense? hope someone can help.

    Million thanks

If you define names, these names will automatically appear in the dropdown of the name box (white text box that normally has your Cell ID in it). If you click on them, you'll go to that cell/range. Does that work?

see your point, but thats where i'm stuck. How/what VBA code would i need to make the combo box look at (display) the name box entries i assign?

    cheers

Why not use hyperlinks & an image?
    Hope that helps.

Thats a viable solution, bu ti have limited space to place buttons/hyperlink images, and have many name boxes to reference to. All this considered, a drop down combo box is the best solution.

You can Paste the list of defined names (F3> Paste List) in an unoccupied area or sheet and then name that list and refer to the named list in your combo box?
