    Time Sums...

    Hi...

I am trying to find a sum, that will add a pre midnight time to a post midnight time to show the amount of hours. I.E. 22:00PM + 06:00AM should show 8 Hrs, but it doesn't, it shows 4 Hrs...

    Can anyone help, please...

If start time is in A2 and end time in B2 you can use this formula

    =MOD(B2-A2,1)

    format result cell as h:mm

    An alternative

    =B2+(A2>B2)-A2
