I'm sure you get this question all the time but....
for some reason a spreadsheet refuses to give results to a formula.
eg. =2+2 remains =2+2 instead of returning 4
can anyone help to 'fix' this?

Try doing a Find/Replace
and replace = with an =
Where there is a will there are many ways.
