How do I show the + sign

    Afternoon all

Does anyone know how I can tell Excel to show me the + sign on a percentage. I know it shows - automatically but when we send the data out we need to show both - and + signs.

    Any ideas?

    Try custom format

    +0.00;-0.00

Custom format will work but since you want percentages then it should be:

    +0.00%,-0.00%

Thats worked fine to show the + symbol, cheers.

Im referencing the percentage in another cell formula, is there a way of getting the + symbol to show on there too?

I cant change the cell to custom format because it contains text and numbers.

The red bit is the cell im referencing for the percentage.

    =N9&ROUND(W9*100,0)&"%"

    Result : LY=1266k3%
