    Complicated Problem!

    Hi Guys,

I have a complex issue i can't work out at all, and would appreciate some feedback/ideas.

Basically, i have a sheet, with Planned Time to work, e.g. 10mins with this is a speed of how many units a person can do a minute.

What i want to do, is create a calculation that will let me work out how many each person has done e.g. Someones planned time is 10mins, and he can do 5 units a minute, if i do 00:10 x 5, the answer comes up as 0.003 where as i want it to display 50.

Is this possible in excel? Or would i have to manually do it?

The only idea i had was to create some kind of table for 00:10 = 10 etc then use this to multiply but not sure how to do that + would take hours.

The real figures are more like 10:54 etc. If i could automatically convert hours to minutes i could possible do it that way, is there a way on excel to convert for example 2:15 to 135 mins?

I'm really stumped on this one, and would massively appreciate some input.

I've attatched a simply file displaying the problem.
