im making a monthly expenses worksheet with a section on how much roommates have paid. pretty simple really, i just want the 'remaining balance' section to never be lower than zero. im sure its just a settign im missing or something, any help is appreciated.

You didn't post your code. In general:
=IF((DUE-PMT)<=0,0,DUE-PMT)

that worked. i tried something like that earlier and it said something to the effect of i had a loop. thanks fro straightening me out.
