formula to copy a cell in another sheet

    Hello,

I do my invoices with exel,
Sheet1 is the invoice, (text is horizontal)
Sheet2 is the envelope to be printed, (text is vertical)
    -
What I would like to do is to copy the 4 lines of the address that I input in Sheet1 to Sheet2, without the formating as I use a different size and font in sheet2.
Also I need to insert 2 or 3 spaces before the text in the cells in Sheet2 as when I format the cell to 'top' (text is vertical) the first few characters are hidden. I don't really get why the formating does not work well. . .

    I use excel 2007

    Many thanks
    Francois

If you need to copy only, then it is Edit - Paste Special - Values. That keeps the formatting of sheet 2

You can also write a formula in sheet 2. Assume your data is in cell A1 in sheet 1, then in the sheet 2 cell to contain these data you write:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
There are 3 spaces between the double quotes and they are put before the text.

Hi micmac and welcome to the board.

If you are mail merging, the functionalities of MSWord might be what you are looking for instead of XL.

    Cheers
