How do I count a running total for this?

In cell A3-A103 I have a column where you would list a date. In cell A104 I need a total of how many dates have been entered.

For example, Cell A3-A5 contains dates (or any information for that matter) so A104 should indicate 3, since there are 3 dates listed. Once a 4th date is entered in cell A6 the total goes to 4 ... so on and so forth.
