Fill empty cells with a 0

    Hey guys,

I've got a whole lot of data which i want to graph, but because there are alot of blank cells when I go to graph it excel goes spastic and the graphs turn out wrong.. I was just wondering if there was someway of filling all the empty cells with a zero (0) so that it gets graph'd properly? The autofill always gets copied over what I've got in the cells already

    Cheers, J

hey i just figured out that if i hightlight all the data including blank cells then click edit:goto then special i can select just the blank cells, then i have to hit zero and enter about 50 times so if anyone has a quicker way it would be much appreciated!

This code goes in a standard module (ALt+F11) then right click in the VBA project window top left hand side and choose Insert, Module then paste the code below:

now all you need to do is hilight the range that contains the blanks and data and run the code all empty cells will now have a 0.

Type zero, then Ctrl+Enter instead of Enter and you only have to do it once.
