help needed removing apostrophes

I have an exported column of data which all begins with an apostrophe before the text

'here's how it looks ....
'this is the next cell etc

this continues for all 2000 rows ...is there anyway I remove all of these with one easy move ?
it's taking forever to delete by hand!
I don't want to lose the apostrophes in the cell text either so can't do a simply find and replace

Can anyone help ?

Try this formula in another columns and fill down:

=VALUE(A1)

Then copy and paste the values.

the =value(a1) didn't work but "copy" and "paste values" did the job perfectly thank you!!
