copy and paste without overwriting cells containing values

please see attached pic,

ive got a formula in a cell, which i want to copy and paste onto cells below it, without overwriting values in cells already there.

is there any way to do this?

If I understand correctly you want to populate empty cells with the formula?

If you select a range of cells and use Go to by pressing F5, you can press the Specials button, then select "Blanks" to select the blank cells and you could then paste in a calculation possibly.

that sort of worked, but unfortunately it doesn't consider cells containing '£0.00' as blank cells. Maybe i could insert a formula first that says 'IF cell has value greater than £0.00, leave as cell value, otherwise change to BLANK', then i'd be able to copy and paste the formula using your system and not overwrite anything.

any idea how to make this formula?
