Can someone fix this if formula

=IF(A2>D2,(B10-0.5)*Y2+A2,B10-1*Y2+D2)



If A2 is selected I want to subtract .5 from B10 and multiply the result by Y2 and add A2

If D2 is selected I want to subtract 1 from B10 and multiply the result by Y2 and add D2


I was trying to do the formula as A2 being greater than D2 because that was the only way I could think of getting it to switch from one to the other once one had been selected but the selection is manual so I'd rather not keep that if possible.

If you want the selection to be the event then Worksheet_SelectionChange migth be the trigger:
