How to get rid of #VALUE in a cell

    Hi there,

Please see attachment. The formula I have in cell P19 give the correct figure when the hours worked are inserted, but how do I get rid of #VALUE? I would like the cell to remain clear.

    Regards

Your formula is not exactly right...

you are trying to multiply a blank by 24...

Try changing formula in P16 to:

    =IF(D16="","",(D16-"20:00")*24)

    copied down.

The *24 needs to be inside the parentheses, otherwise 24 is being multiplied by "" when applicable.
