keep cell blank if

hi gents
on sheet 1 is my input page
so if for instance on sheet 4 i have =sheet1 and then the cell
at the moment it returns #value! if there is nothing on sheet 1

how can i get this cell to remain blank on sheet 4 if there is nothing entered in sheet 1?

probably really easy but not for me
