Is there a way to change a number (eg 750) to its written format (seven hundred and fifty)? I need both to appear next to each other and update automatically.

There's a user defined function posted here that I think I used a while back (I had it bookmarked)... it should do the trick....

Thanks for the suggestion.
I found something very similar here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/213360 which I have managed to get working. However, its a sample and displays it in dollars and cents!
It is for a medication chart so I need the number (eg 450) as well as it written out as four hundred and fifty (with millilitres on the end, but not essential). So I just need to get rid of the 'dollars and cents', but not really sure how to?

anyone...?
The code I directed you to does not put in "dollars and cents"
oh yeah, I apologise for that!
I have tried pasting that into the module box that appears (insert - module), but it wont appear under 'user defined' when I try add a function.
Take out the first word, "Private" from the code.
Thank you!
Very much appreciated!
