    cell info to next cell

I'm trying information within a single cell, to multiple cells. I thought I knew how to do this simply with "Find and Replace", unless i'm missing something there, it is not the option.
This is what i'm trying to do:

    Cell 1:
    John Adams <[email protected]>
I would like to move/copy this data to create the following, horizontally or vertically:

    Cell 1:John Adams
    Cell 2:[email protected]

    Thanks for any information.

    Charlie

Try Data > text to Columns > delimiter would be <

Then Select the new column > press Ctrl + H in the find box enter > and press replace all

You can do this horizontally in a couple of steps...

First, select the column and go to Data|Text to Columns.

    Select Delimited and click Next

Select Other and enter a < symbol in the box next to Other

    Click Finish..

This separates the Name from the email address and eliminates the < symbol.

Now select the column with the email address and go to Data|Text to Columns

    Select Delimited and click Next

Change the symbol in the Other box to >

    Click Next

Select the 2nd column in the Data Preview area...

From the Column Data Format area, select Do not import.

    Click Finish.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
