(Resolved): Removing Check boxes copied from another document into Excel

    Hey,
I need to remove check boxes that were added by accident and they would not clear out. I tried clearing content and deleting the whole cell, but I don't want to delete the whole row, as there are important information and it would take a long time to reformat and copy the stuff.

I attached the same check boxes , that I can't get rid of in a new sheet.

Please let me know if anyone have any luck removing the check boxes without deleting the whole row/column.

btw I couldn't Undo it either

    Thanks

Here you go, just enable the design mode.

Try View > toolbars > Control toolbar > select design mode > press F5 > special > objects. This selects all the objects then press delete

    Removing checkboxes

    Try this

    • Display the Visual Basic Toolbar
    <view><toolbars><visual basic>
    • Click the Design Mode button
    • <edit><go to><special>
    • Check: Objects.....Click [OK]
(the checkboxes should be gone now)
    • Click the Exit Design Mode

    Does that work for you?
